How to compare one amount in several currencies
Currency lets you view several conversions together. This is useful for comparing a travel budget or a quoted price without repeatedly replacing the same currency pair.
App used in this guide: Currency ↗
Before you begin
Keep the list focused on currencies you actually need. A shorter list makes it easier to see which amount is the input and which rows are converted results.
Step by step
- Open Currency and add the required currencies to Convert.
- Tap the source-currency row and enter your amount.
- Read the corresponding results across the other rows.
- Change the source amount once when you want to compare a different price.
Check the result
Keep the currency codes visible when recording the results. If you copy numbers into a note, include the date and source amount so the comparison still makes sense later.
Limits and troubleshooting
These are currency conversions, not an account balance or a combined budget. Do not add the converted rows together: they are different representations of the same original amount, and fees charged by payment providers are not automatically included.
