How to fix rotated or hard-to-read scanned pages

Use Scanner's page editor to rotate, reorder, delete and filter pages. Editing is most effective when the original capture is already sharp and complete.

Before you begin
Open the document and identify the specific problem. A sideways page needs rotation, a wrong sequence needs reordering, and a faint scan may need a filter or a better capture rather than the same fix for everything.
Step by step
- Open Edit from the document detail screen.
- Select the page you want to adjust and correct its rotation.
- Review the available filters and choose the one that keeps the small text readable.
- Reorder pages or delete unwanted pages, then save and inspect the PDF.
Check the result
Look for faint handwriting, colored stamps and light pencil marks after applying a filter. A clean white background is not an improvement if it removes information that was visible in the original.
Limits and troubleshooting
Do not keep increasing contrast when text is blurred or hidden by a reflection. Rescan the page with steadier framing and more even light. Before deleting a page, confirm it is blank on the captured side.
