How to read an exchange-rate chart in Currency
Currency's Chart tab lets you inspect a currency pair over different time ranges. A chart describes past rate data; it does not tell you with certainty what the next rate will be.

Before you begin
Check which currency is the base and which is the quote. A rising line means more units of the quote currency per unit of the base, so its meaning depends on the pair's direction.
Step by step
- Open Chart in Currency and select the pair.
- Choose a time range that fits the comparison you want.
- Touch a point on the chart to inspect its date and rate.
- Compare several points instead of judging the whole period from a single movement.
Check the result
Record the pair direction and dates with any screenshot or note. Two charts can appear to move in opposite directions simply because one shows the reverse currency pair.
Limits and troubleshooting
Historical movement is not a reliable promise about the best time to exchange money. Use the chart to understand past changes, and use the current provider quote and applicable fees when evaluating an actual exchange.
