How to reverse a currency conversion correctly
To reverse a conversion, change which currency contains the amount you are entering. Reading the opposite row without changing the input can answer a different question from the one you intended.

Before you begin
Write the question in words first: for example, how much home currency equals a local price, or how much local currency equals a home budget. These are related but different inputs.
Step by step
- Add both currencies to Convert in Currency.
- Tap the row containing the currency of the amount you know.
- Enter that amount and read the other row.
- For the reverse question, tap the other currency and enter its known amount instead.
Check the result
Check a simple round amount before using a complicated total. Keep the entered number with its currency code so you can distinguish it from the converted result.
Limits and troubleshooting
Small round-trip differences can result from rounding, while actual exchange providers may quote different buying and selling rates. Converting out and back in the app does not simulate two real transactions with all charges included.
