How to share a GIF from GIFFF to another app
GIFFF uses sharing options to pass GIFs to other apps. Whether the result plays as animation depends on what the receiving app accepts in that particular screen.
App used in this guide: GIFFF ↗
Before you begin
Decide where the GIF will go: a direct message, a post or another editor. These destinations can have different file restrictions even when they belong to the same social app.
Step by step
- Open the GIF in GIFFF and wait for the animation to load.
- Choose Share and select the destination app.
- Review the destination's preview and add any accompanying text.
- Complete the send or post action in that app.
Check the result
Check the delivered result. If you see only a link or still image, try saving the GIF to Photos and attaching the saved file through the destination's own media picker.
Limits and troubleshooting
Do not assume every social post format accepts animated GIF files. Some require a video format or an app-specific sticker flow. GIFFF's share action does not override those destination rules or convert every unsupported upload automatically.
