How to calculate square footage
For a rectangular room, multiply length by width in feet: a 12 ft × 15 ft room is 180 sq ft (16.7 m²). For an L-shaped space, split it into rectangles and add them up. To convert square feet to square meters, multiply by 0.0929; for the reverse, multiply square meters by 10.764.
