How to blur a group photo while keeping one face visible

Blurri lets you exclude selected detected faces from photo blurring. This helps when you want one subject visible while hiding other people in the same frame.

Before you begin

Decide which people may remain visible before editing. Use the full image rather than a tight preview so you can see small background faces, reflections and people near the edges.

Step by step

  1. Open the group photo and run face detection in Blurri.
  2. Review the detected faces and exclude the person you want to keep visible.
  3. Apply the effect to the remaining targets and adjust its strength.
  4. Save and inspect the full-resolution result.

Check the result

Verify each person individually. Similar faces or a small preview can make it easy to exclude the wrong target, so do not judge the result only from the main subject.

Limits and troubleshooting

Automatic detection can miss profiles or partially hidden faces. Cover missed areas manually, and check names, uniforms and surroundings when those details could identify people you intended to conceal.
