How to clean up old screenshots on iPhone

Before you begin

Before selecting a batch, identify screenshots that act as records: receipts, booking details, instructions and conversations you intentionally kept. A screenshot's age does not tell you whether it is still useful.

Step by step

1. Open the screenshots category in Cleanup Pro.
2. Inspect recent and older groups at a readable size.
3. Select screenshots you no longer need.
4. Review the selected items and approve deletion only when the set is correct.

Check the result

Open Photos afterwards and confirm important screenshots remain. If you transferred information to a note or document first, check that the new copy contains the full details.

Limits and troubleshooting

Do not assume a cleanup app knows which booking or receipt is still active. Use Recently Deleted if you make a mistake during the recovery period, and avoid emptying it until you have checked your selections.
