How to merge PDF files on iPhone
The merge tool in PDF Reader Pro combines separate PDFs into one file. Review source order before merging, especially for applications with a required document sequence.
App used in this guide: PDF Reader Pro ↗
Before you begin
Open every source PDF and verify that it is complete. Make a short list of their intended order and page counts so you can compare the combined output against it.
Step by step
- Open Tools in PDF Reader Pro and choose Merge PDF.
- Select at least two PDFs using the offered selection flow.
- Review the order of the selected documents before completing the merge.
- Open the result, rename it clearly and share the combined file.
Check the result
Inspect the transitions between source documents and compare the total page count. Duplicate cover sheets and sideways pages are easier to catch before sending the file.
Limits and troubleshooting
Merging does not repair damaged files or normalize every page size. If a source is password-protected, you may need authorized access first. Keep the originals until the result has been checked in the destination where you will use it.
