About the Merge PDF
This PDF merger joins separate PDFs — contracts, receipts, scanned pages, school handouts — into a single file. When you add files you see the page count of each, can rearrange them, and merge everything with one click.
Everything happens inside your browser, so your files are never sent to a server. It is safe for documents with personal data, and there is no sign-up, no file limit and no watermark.
How to use
- Tap the box above to choose the PDFs you want to combine, or drag and drop them.
- Put them in order with the ↑ ↓ buttons. The file at the top becomes the first pages.
- Change the file name if you like, then press Merge PDF.
- The combined PDF downloads right away.
If a PDF can’t be merged
- PDFs with an open password can’t be read, so they can’t be merged. Save an unlocked copy in your PDF viewer and try again.
- Damaged files are shown in red and are skipped automatically.
- For photos or scans saved as JPG or PNG, first turn them into a PDF with Image to PDF, then merge.
File size and speed
The merged PDF is usually about the size of all the original files added together. Speed depends on your device; files of several hundred MB may run out of memory on a phone, so use a computer for those. If you only need some pages, extract them first with Split PDF to keep the result small.
FAQ
Are my PDFs uploaded or stored on a server?
No. The files are processed only in the browser you are using and are never sent anywhere. When you close the page they are gone from memory too.
How many PDFs can I merge?
There is no limit. Very many or very large files may be slow, depending on your device’s memory.
Are links and bookmarks kept?
Page content, fonts and images stay exactly the same. Document-level bookmarks (outline) and some form fields may be dropped when merging.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. In Safari or Chrome you can pick PDFs from the Files app or your Downloads folder and merge them on your phone.
