Print only selected PDF pages from your iPhone
The iOS print sheet may let you select a page range instead of printing the whole PDF. The preview's page order is the reference, which can differ from printed page numbers.
App used in this guide: Smart Printer ↗
Before you begin
Open the PDF and identify the required pages, including any cover or contents pages before them. Review the selected printer's available options.
Step by step
- Open the PDF in Smart Printer and choose Print.
- Find the page range or page selection control offered by iOS.
- Select the needed pages, confirm copies and inspect the preview before submitting.
Check the result
For a report numbered from page 1 after a cover, the displayed PDF position may be one page later. Check the actual page content, not only its number.
If it does not work
If the print sheet does not offer the selection you need, prepare a separate PDF containing those pages with a suitable editor. Do not assume every printer exposes identical options.
