About the Wheel Spinner
This wheel spinner picks one option from a list at random โ perfect for choosing dinner, running a giveaway, picking a student or deciding a penalty. The result is decided the moment you press spin using your browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto), and the wheel then slows down to stop exactly on that slice. What you see on the wheel is always the real result.
How to use
- Edit the names in the Entries list or type in Add entry. Separate several with commas to add them at once.
- Change an entry's weight to change both its slice size and its chance. The real probability (%) is shown next to it.
- Press Spin the wheel or the GO button in the middle. A pop-up shows the winner when it stops.
- To keep drawing without repeats, turn on Remove winners automatically.
- Copy share link copies a URL that contains your list, so friends open the same wheel.
How weights turn into probabilities
An entry's chance of winning is its weight รท the sum of all weights. Slice angles use the same ratio, so the slice size you see is the probability.

If every entry has the same weight (default 1), every entry has the same chance.

FAQ
Is the wheel rigged?
No. The result comes from crypto.getRandomValues in your browser and only the weights change the odds. The site cannot pre-select or change results on a server.
How many entries can I add?
Up to 40. With many entries the slices get narrow and long names are shortened, so keep names short.
Is my list saved?
Entries and settings are saved only in this browser. A share link stores just the names, weights and colors in the URL.
Can I turn off the sound?
Untick Sound under the wheel. If your device has reduced motion turned on, the result appears without the spinning animation.
