How to reuse services and prices in Invoice Dash
Invoice Dash's reusable item catalog helps you add commonly billed work without typing the same description and price every time. Review quantities and rates for each new job.

Before you begin
Use item names that a client can understand, such as an agreed service or deliverable. Internal shorthand may be convenient for you but confusing to someone approving the invoice.
Step by step
- Open the item catalog and create a reusable item.
- Add a clear description, price and the relevant settings offered by the app.
- Select the item when building an invoice or estimate.
- Adjust the quantity and review the line total before saving.
Check the result
Compare the invoice against the actual agreement. A stored price is a starting point, not proof that it is still the right price for a new client or project.
Limits and troubleshooting
When updating your catalog, keep track of when new rates take effect. Do not assume that changing a catalog item rewrites every historical document or every PDF already shared with a customer.
