About the Organize PDF
This tool fixes PDFs whose scanned pages are out of order or lying sideways. Every page is shown as a thumbnail: drag and drop to rearrange, and rotate, duplicate or delete pages one by one.
You can also insert blank pages or add the pages of another PDF to build one document. Pages are copied as they are — not turned into images — so text stays sharp and selectable. Everything runs in your browser.
How to use
- Tap the box above and choose a PDF. All of its pages appear as thumbnails.
- Drag a page to where you want it. On a phone, press and hold the page first, then drag.
- Use the buttons under each page to rotate (↻), duplicate (⧉) or delete (✕) it. The buttons at the top rotate all pages, add a blank page or add another PDF.
- Press Save PDF to download the organized file.
Buttons and shortcuts
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Reorder | Drag with the mouse · press and hold, then drag on touch screens · keyboard: focus a page, then ←/→ |
| Rotate | ↻ button (90° clockwise) · keyboard R |
| Duplicate | ⧉ button — a copy appears right after the page |
| Delete | ✕ button · keyboard Delete |
| Blank page | Added at the end, same size as the last page |
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation only changes the page’s rotation value (/Rotate) in the PDF; the content is not redrawn or recompressed. Quality and file size stay the same no matter how often you rotate, and text remains searchable.
To save only some pages as a separate file, Split PDF is quicker; to join whole files one after another, use Merge PDF.
FAQ
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Previews, reordering and saving all happen in your browser, and the file is never sent anywhere.
Dragging doesn’t work on my phone.
To tell dragging apart from scrolling, press and hold a page for about 0.3 seconds before you drag it. Dragging to the top or bottom edge of the screen scrolls automatically.
Can I organize a password-protected PDF?
Not if it has an open password, because its content can’t be read. Remove the password with the Unlock PDF tool first.
Are links and bookmarks kept?
Page content and link annotations on the pages are kept. Document-wide bookmarks (outline) and form-field connections may not survive in the new PDF.
