How to check photos saved in Cleanup Pro's Secret Album
Cleanup Pro includes a password-protected Secret Album for selected media. Verify saved items and understand where other copies remain before relying on the album for privacy or storage management.
App used in this guide: Cleanup Pro ↗
Before you begin
Choose a non-sensitive test photo first and make sure you understand the app's access and recovery options. Do not begin by moving the only copy of an important recording.
Step by step
- Open Secret Album in Cleanup Pro and set up its offered lock.
- Add the test media using the album's import flow.
- Close and reopen the album to check authentication and playback.
- Review Photos separately to see whether the original remains there.
Check the result
An app album, the Photos library and previously shared files are separate locations. Hiding or locking a copy in one location does not automatically remove copies from messages, backups or another device.
Limits and troubleshooting
Keep appropriate backups of important originals and understand access recovery before storing essential media. Do not assume that deleting the app preserves its private album or that an album lock protects every exported copy elsewhere.
