About the Online Checklist
This online checklist maker lets you build a to-do list or packing list and tick items off one by one. A progress bar shows how much is done at a glance, and lines starting with # become section headings so long lists stay organized.
Tap a template — weekend trip, international trip, moving or camping — to get a list pre-filled with the essentials, then delete what you don’t need and add your own items. You can keep several lists, they are saved on this device automatically, and you can print any list as a paper checklist or PDF.
How to use
- Type an item and press Enter or Add. Start a line with # to make it a section heading.
- Tick items as you finish them. The percentage and progress bar update instantly.
- Use ↑ ↓ to reorder items and ✕ to delete one.
- Planning a trip, a move or a camping weekend? Tap a template to start, and use 🖨 Print for a paper copy.
Before you travel abroad
- Passport validity: many countries require at least six months left on your passport from the date you arrive, plus one or two blank pages.
- Entry permits: check the State Department’s country page — some destinations need a visa or an online travel authorization (for example the UK ETA) before you fly.
- Power banks: lithium batteries must go in your carry-on, never in checked bags.
- Liquids: the TSA 3-1-1 rule allows containers up to 3.4 oz (100 ml) in one quart-size bag.
- STEP: enroll in the free Smart Traveler Enrollment Program so the nearest U.S. embassy can reach you in an emergency.

FAQ
Where are my checklists saved?
In the browser you’re using right now. Open this page again on the same device and browser and your lists are still there. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I share a list with someone?
Lists are stored only on this device, so there’s no share link. Use Print to save the list as a PDF or print it on paper and hand it out.
Can I edit the template items?
Yes. A list made from a template is a normal list: delete items you don’t need with ✕, add your own and rename the list.
What does the printout look like?
Only the list title, progress and items with checkboxes are printed — no buttons or input fields. Choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog to get a PDF file.
