About the LED Banner
This LED banner shows your message in huge letters scrolling across the whole screen, just like a real LED sign. Use it to cheer at a concert or game, as an airport pickup sign, for a birthday surprise, or to wave down a friend in a crowd โ right in the browser, with no app to install.
Turn on the LED dot effect to make the letters look like they are made of tiny lights. Your last message and settings are saved on this device, so they are still there next time.
How to use
- Type your message. The preview above updates instantly.
- Tap a quick preset (concert, airport pickup and more) or adjust text size, speed, colors and motion yourself.
- Tap Show full screen and turn your phone sideways.
- Tap the screen once or press โ to leave full screen.
Tips for a sign people can read from far away
- In a dark arena, bright pink, yellow or green text on a black background is visible from the farthest away.
- In bright places like an airport arrivals hall, black text on white in Static mode is easiest to read.
- Keep it short. For reading from a distance, two or three words work best.
- Turn screen brightness all the way up and switch off auto-lock for a while. Supported browsers keep the screen awake while the banner is in full screen.
Using it in landscape
If you hold your phone upright in full screen, the text is automatically rotated 90ยฐ so it runs along the long side of the screen. Just turn the phone sideways and the message reads normally. With auto-rotate on, the page switches to landscape as soon as you turn the phone.
FAQ
Does full screen work on iPhone?
Yes. Safari on iPhone does not support the web Fullscreen API, so the banner covers the whole page instead. If you still see the address bar, turn the phone sideways or swipe up slightly.
Can I use emoji?
Yes. Emoji such as ๐ or ๐ are shown as they are. With the LED dot effect on, they turn into dots too.
Is my message saved?
Your last message and settings are stored only in this browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
The text stutters or jumps.
On older phones, very large text combined with the LED dot effect can make the animation less smooth. Turn the dot effect off or lower the speed a little.
