About the Merge Images

This tool joins several pictures into a single image. Itโ€™s handy for stitching a long chat conversation into one screenshot, putting before-and-after photos side by side, or stacking product images for a listing. Photos of different sizes are automatically matched in width (vertical) or height (horizontal) so the result looks clean.

Everything happens in your browser, and your photos are not uploaded anywhere.

How to use

  1. Drop two or more photos into the box above or tap it to choose them. You can add more later.
  2. Set the order with the โ†‘ โ†“ buttons in the list. Photos are joined from top to bottom.
  3. Choose the direction (vertical or horizontal), size matching, spacing and background color. The preview updates instantly.
  4. Tap Save merged image to download it as JPG or PNG.

Size matching options

  • Match smallest: larger photos are scaled down to fit. Nothing is enlarged, so this is the safest choice.
  • Match largest: smaller photos are scaled up to fit. They may look slightly soft.
  • Original sizes: photos keep their size and are centered; empty space is filled with the background color.

Ideas

  • Chat screenshots: vertical, spacing 0, match smallest
  • Before and after: horizontal, spacing 10โ€“20px, white or black background
  • Product listing images: vertical, photos 860โ€“1000px wide, no spacing
  • Instagram collage: 2โ€“3 photos horizontally with the outer border on

FAQ

How many images can I merge?

There is no limit on the number, but if the result exceeds 16,384 pixels on a side (about 16.7 million pixels in total on iPhone and iPad), it is scaled down automatically and a notice is shown. For many long screenshots, merge them in several batches.

Does merging reduce quality?

With Match smallest, no photo is enlarged, so quality is preserved. Choose PNG when saving for lossless output.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Merging and saving happen only in the browser you are using.

What happens to transparent PNGs?

Empty space and transparent areas in the merged image are filled with the background color you choose.
