“No AirPrint Printers Found” on iPhone: a checklist
This message means the iPhone has not found an available AirPrint printer. Check the printer’s exact model, local network and readiness before changing apps. Smart Printer uses AirPrint and cannot bypass an unsupported printer or an isolated network.

Confirm AirPrint support for the exact model
Look up the model printed on your printer or its settings page in the manufacturer’s documentation. Wi-Fi support and AirPrint support are not interchangeable. Some printers use a manufacturer-specific workflow instead.
A printer connected only to a computer by USB is not automatically available through AirPrint. If your model lacks AirPrint, use its documented manufacturer solution or print from a supported computer.
Check the network
Make sure the iPhone and printer are on the same local network. Compare the network name with the printer’s network status screen. A guest network may allow internet access while blocking discovery between devices.
An Ethernet-connected printer can work if it is on the same accessible local network as your Wi-Fi phone. Different Wi-Fi bands alone do not necessarily prevent printing; device isolation and router configuration matter.
Check the printer and app
- Wake the printer and clear paper, ink or cover-open errors.
- Reopen the print dialog and select the printer again.
- In Smart Printer, allow Local Network access if prompted, and recheck the printer list.
- Try a small PDF from another printing-capable app. If that app also cannot find the printer, focus on compatibility and network setup.
- If the printer manual recommends it, restart the printer and check for supported firmware updates.
Know when an app can help
If the printer is visible in the system print dialog, Smart Printer can help organize photos, documents and scans in one workflow. It will not make a disconnected or non-AirPrint printer compatible.
On a managed school, hotel or workplace network, ask whether AirPrint discovery is supported. Avoid resetting shared network equipment. For support, note the printer model, iOS version and whether another device can print successfully.
